South African World Cup Champs 2007

Well, this post has been a long awaited because of the downtime of the site. The downtime was due to the malfunctioning of plugins. So once that was fixed we can now see the blog, instead of the blank index page.

This weekend was excellent because South Africa won the 2007 Rugby World Championship. South Africans united here in Victoria to celebrate the great victory, and what a celebration it was.

This next week might a challenger because of accounting midterm. So far have been doing well in school, but by far this is the most challenging course.

My parents return next week from South Africa, what fun that will be

Anyways gotta hit those books cheerio.

Thanksgiving

Winter has come and its raining here in Victoria, Canada. This past few weeks have been busy. Today I had off because of Thanksgiving and had to do school work because this week is all midterms for all my courses :S. So this is when rubber meets the road. Performance time Just scared of statistics.

Finished reading another of Roberts Kiyosaki’s books, Cash flow Quadrant, it was good read and I highly recommend you read it. Started getting some more books of business and investing together now. Computer times have been very limited because of my busy schedule.

School, Cashflows and Ipod Touch.

Im at school writing this post. I decided in between my work to tell you what has been going on with me. I have not had much time to do any online activity but there will always be time for it later. Right now i am taking four courses as I said in my previous post. I find it to be more demanding in the first few weeks than i estimated it to be.

So all is going well, this previous weekend my sister came from Vancouver to pay me a visit! I also recently have picked up the second book in the series of Rich Dad, Poor dad, entitled “Cash flow Quadrant”. I find this book to be Roberts theory and story but very applicable to our lives in this day and age. A Recommended Read!

As an accounting student, i am loving every bit of this unique experience in Victoria. Come over and pay me a visit if you are from Vancouver, i would love to have you. Also parents are leaving for South Africa soon and i am so jealous, as they gear there efforts towards traveling.

Digg has been a good place for boredom without my laptop. Especially, since they came out with the new Interface earlier this summer. The apple-ites are in full swing with the sweet looking Ipod touch and new Iphone releases. What a great marketing strategy they have.

The age of tv alone is over. Today we have the colored lg plasma tv with dvd cd and all the works. Students too have found a replacement for laptop computers, and that is I pod touch, complete with ringtones.
