Your thoughts on poetry? All time favorite poet…
Today, I saw a link that intrigued me that Matt from Wordpress sent out, it was to do with Poetry so it got me thinking what was my favorite all-time poet. This was pretty easy for me..Robert Frost of course! His bio can be found here!
Here is one of my favorite Robert Frost:
‘THE ROAD NOT TAKEN
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:

And that has made all the difference.’

Top 5 Web Site Statistic Software
I decided to post my favorite trackers today because it is end of the month..
TOP 5 List
1) Mint 2
This is my favorite one tracker because it integrates nicely with wordpress. Make a separate database and add folder website.com/mint. Also, the GUI impressed me cause of its simplicity. Might not be the most accurate but it works really well and really easy to configure!
2) Stat counter
One of the most accurate web site analytic but the Gui is very simple and easy to navigate. Have to access it externally!
I have been using this since the beginning of tracking all my sites and find it very handy, also external to Wordpress however. They did a really good job of upgrading the Gui. For beginner webmasters this is the tool for you!
Tried this in beta, very nice gui but didn’t totally do the job i wanted it to do. Integrated well with wordpress!
5) Firestats
Recently using it i found that it was easy to use as Wordpress plug in, integrates right into your dashboard.

Review: Vancouver Canucks New Jersey….

History of the jersey is discussed on Canada (dot) com. For all the fans of the Vancouver Canucks, the long awaited unveiling of the new jersey has come today. Like it or not its here to stay! To see a review of the new logo: go here!.
My thoughts and opinion of the jersey
The new jersey changed slightly, kept the orca logo, kept the new colors of old retro jersey and added Vancouver. ( As shown below )..

There was alot of hype about little tweaks and changes to the new jersey, some good, some bad. The addition of the Vancouver name on top of the jersey is old school and its one of the features I like alot. Overall, I think it is great to have the buzz of the new Vancouver jersey because it creates a Vancouver Canucks culture for next season, (only Vancouver fans can associate with this 
).
Next question one should answer, can the jersey work miracles or can new colors give the team the edge it needs to bring home the Stanley Cup?

Promoting Local Designers
Well, I finished the final touches of code to my designers friend, Tyson website. The site is www.tysonfaa.com! So if you need someone to design graphics for you he is fluent in speaking Mandarin Chinese and has skills in Illustrator/Shop. I will admit the site isn’t very pretty 2.0ish but it was what he sort of wanted..http://jealouskids.com
The other designer who does his own thing on the side is my friend Brandon J McKay. Both are in Maple Ridge B.C. and have great work up and coming. Both are really artsy guys and would love to sit down with you and help you fill your need.
As for me…I’m done with freeeee sites, unless i get free beer(s)! Cheers Guys
