Itunes new Market?

December 5th, 2007 1 Comment   Posted in Technology

A week ago or more now I noticed after the new install and upgrade a new feature. Apple Itunes have added one more section, the ring tones section. One might say well about time, well others are more oblivious and say “Rad new feature, man”. Is this a bold move for Itunes? What will be the functionality with Itunes and Ringtones?

With the spark of Apple’s new products, namely the Iphone, the move to ringtones was obvious. How will marketers adjust to this change and position themselves in the market? Pushing ease and convience perhaps?

For myself I like to see where the changes happened visually, therefore below is screen shot of Itunes Ring tones incorporation into there current interface:

Apple Itunes has figured out how they can cash into the market of ringtones(the saturated market as it is)…notice the store is beneath the ringtones..hmm..I say…The Next Big Question is where are you targeting your market? Ringtones, perhaps try think of how Itunes application can be an asset to your business..

Of all the cell phone accessories in the market, the most promising ones seem to be the ones launched by lg phones. The second one to introduce some exemplary ones are the sprint phones. Not all cell phones are able to accomplish so much.
